| When we were first asked to make black wedding favors we were a little
suprised. After all black represents darkness, morning and death. To some the thought of using black for a wedding favor congers up thoughts of darkness and evil. But on the other hand it is very elegant and striking when used on the white clay. After all a formal event is often refered to as black tie and when we see designers next to a piece of art the designer usually is wearing black, and its a color of authority and seriousness. And the term "the new black" refers to the latest trend, due to the fact that black is always considered fashionable. |
